Bayelsan Silhouettes is an exciting, cutting edge film and capacity building project which produced seven entertaining short movies.  The films deal   with critical issues affecting young people in Nigeria, and specifically, in the Niger Delta. Catch them Young
Ovie is a bright school girl, in puppy love with her classmate Sam. The two lovers’ passionate affair soon has irreversible consequences and Ovie is left to face hard choices with her uncle and aunt, turning from angry despair to cautious hope.



I am Prepared
Payefa is a happening young man, living life in the fast lane.  But his misconceptions about relationships and “healthy living” land him in trouble with Opuere, his fiancé. Opuere has to decide whether to play his game or stand up for what she knows is right – at great personal cost. 



My Brother’s Keeper
The former don of a university cult, Sinivie, tells the gripping story of his college years, and how his gang lifestyle and bonds of blood brotherhood put the life of his younger brother on the line.



The Juju Doctor
In the film Juju Doctor, we meet Fere, a young man who was mesmerized by a local juju doctor in his youth. Through a series of twists and turns, he tries to stop the man whom he blames for destroying his life. Will he manage to turn his anger into something positive in the face of superstition?



Only Once
Timi and Ebiere are in love, eager to get married. Through counselling, Ebiere discovers a part of Timi’s double life she refuses to accept.  Having to face up to this new reality doesn’t come easy – despite their counsellor’s surprising insight and support from the church.



The Visit
Boki is a young woman living with an incurable disease. She gets an unexpected visit from her estranged mother, and together with Boki’s loyal boyfriend, Patrick, they discover what led her from the high expectations of university life down a dangerous road of destruction.


You No Be Man
The Okada Drivers Union’s secretary, commonly known as You No Be Man because of his macho ideals, is a popular guy with many wives, friends and girlfriends. He leads a reckless, happy-go-lucky life. His childhood friend, Tonye, who left town to study, returns home and through a series of chance happenings, the okada men pull together to save a friend’s life… After that night You No Be Man will never be the same again.
